Emir Palacios born in La Plata, Argentina in 1981. He started his musical studies at the age of six in the Music school Federico Chopin of the city of Berisso. In 1993 he went to the Conservatory of Music Gilardo Gilardi of the city of La Plata, and specialized in piano. In 1999 he started his studies of orchestral conducting in the National University of La Plata and afterwards, in 2004, he studied Composition with electroacoustic means in the National University of Quilmes.
He also attended Recording and Sound Engineering courses in the Inartec Institute in the year 2005, and a course of electronic music composition in Sonica School in the year 2008, both in the city of Buenos Aires.
Throughout his education he took private piano lessons with Alicia Belleville and with Rubén Cabanes.
During 2011 he composed the music of "Retroalimentación Arte" (Art Feedback), a work created by him and the plastic artist Magalí Dascenzi, which combines music and paintings, where each picture has its original musical work.
During 2012 he worked in the Project of short films musicalization of the film and script workshop that is given in the Pasaje Dardo Rocha of the city of La Plata under the direction of Victoria Basile.
He also participated in the "Trilogia Project", an exhibition that involves paintings, food and music, presented during the Art Basel Miami 2012 week
Since 2011 he composed the soundrascks for many shortfilms and audiovisual projects.
